Alcohol Exemption Permit
The City of Orange has a new Alcohol Exemption Permit that streamlines the approval process for restaurants that serve alcohol.

The City of Orange has a new Alcohol Exemption Permit that streamlines the approval process for restaurants that serve alcohol.

The new Permit eliminates the need for business owners to apply for a conditional use permit for alcohol service provided that the business operates in accordance with specified operating criteria (https://ecode360.com/OR5214/laws/LF2480546.pdf).

This significantly reduces the time and some of the cost associated with opening a restaurant.

For additional information about the Alcohol Exemption Permit, please contact the City of Orange Planning Division at (714) 744-7220.
