Orange Unified School District The Orange Unified School District is a district
on the move. Unified since 1953, with a start-up enrollment of 3,600 students, the
district is now the 32nd largest in California and the sixth largest in Orange County.
Orange Unified educated more than 31,000 students in 43 schools – 30 elementary;
five middle schools, including two charter and one k-8 magnet school; four comprehensive
high schools; one continuation high school; a Regional Occupation Program; one special
education school; and, one pre-k special day class program. Fifteen schools operate
on a year-round schedule, including thirteen on single-track and two on multi-track.

Orange Unified employs close to 3,200 teachers, administrators, counselors and support
staff, making it nearly the largest employer in the City of Orange. The district
maintains a strong ending balance and positive audit reports.

Situated in central Orange County, between Los Angeles and San Diego, Orange Unified

Santiago Canyon College Located at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Jamboree
Road, Santiago Canyon College is proud to be the City of Orange’s community college.
The college provides training in many high-demand topics designed to help you grow
your business, such as e-commerce, marketing, advertising, web design, taxation
and accounting, one-day notary public and loan signing agent workshops, and much
more.

Classes and certificate programs are available for every skill level, from basic
English and Spanish instruction to mastery of computer software applications that

are experts in the fields that they teach.

Chapman University Located two blocks north of the historic Old Towne Orange Plaza,
Chapman University is Orange County’s largest and oldest institution of higher education.
Known nationwide for its charming and picturesque campus, Chapman has blended the
old with the new as the school has grown from a small, liberal arts college to a
bustling university advancing its position in American higher education.

The campus itself is an art gallery and an arboretum. Along the winding paths are
a number of commissioned bronze busts commemorating endowment gifts. A public art
highlight is Liberty Plaza, home to an authentic section of the Berlin Wall, and
more than 200 trees from 80 species line the walkways. Rarely a night goes by without
some type of public cultural or educational event, from choir and chamber concerts
to films series and theatrical productions. Chapman prides itself on being the “hometown
university” to the City of Orange, and they share a rich history.

Azusa Pacific University The Orange Regional Campus of Azusa Pacific University
provides Master’s degree and credential programs in a number of areas related to
K-12 education – teaching, administration, counseling and guidance, school psychology,
special education, and educational technology. A Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
and California professional licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy are also offerd.
For those intrested in pursuing an advanced degree in theology, two programs in
this field of study are available.

New to the Orange Regional Campus is a weekend Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership
that is tailored to the needs of those professionals for whom attending classes
on Saturdays is more in keeping with busy weekday lifestyles. The Campus also offers
three programs for individuals interested in earning Bachelor’s degrees at an accellerated
rate. The three programs are in human development, leading to a teaching credential,
and applied management or organizational leadership, both of which may lead to an
earned MBA degree.

South Coast College Today, South Coast College’s success story encompasses the successes
of the many hundreds of graduates over the past four decades. South Coast has developed
a program recognized internationally as dynamic and progressive – continually changing
and improving to meet the challenge of technology-based professions.

InterCoast College InterCoast College was originally founded as a travel school
in South Orange County. The first class started in May 1985.

In February of 1993, the institution obtained approval from the Bureau for Private
Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE) to add medical programs to its curricula.
In 1995, the college obtained the necessary approvals to begin training in its Paralegal
Specialist program, and also opened its first Branch Campus. In 1997, the colleges
obtained the required approvals to begin training in Business Program. In January
2000, InterCoast Colleges opened its Branch Campus in Riverside and opened West
Covina in January of 2003. and later that year, an auxiliary site in Los Angeles
County was opened.

Additionally, ICC received approval for its Drug and Alcohol Counseling Program
in 2003, and subsequently received approval for its Addiction Professional Education
Program for those with industry experience.

Westwood College Located just across the Orange border, Westwood College provides

Arrowhead Pond, Edison Field, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, local beaches and
major shopping malls!

Westwood’s Anaheim campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career
Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), and offers Bachelor Degree programs
in business, criminal justice, design, and technology, as well as Associate Degree
programs in design and technology.
